My wife and I are from Detroit, Michigan, where ice cream trucks were part of growing up. Hearing them coming down the street, spotting them at the park, and at neighborhood events. Those little moments brought a lot of joy.

About eight years ago, my job offered me the chance to relocate. Arizona was one of the options, so my wife and I turned a weekend visit into a date night getaway. It was our first time here, and we loved it. We looked at each other and knew: this was where we wanted to be.

Eight years later, Arizona is home. We’ve grown a family and started businesses here. But we still missed the ice cream trucks we grew up with in the Midwest. One day we said to each other, “What if we brought that experience AZ?”

That idea became SunnyDayz Ice Cream, LLC.

We hope to create the kind of moments Arizona families will look back on as fondly as we remember ours.
